The Butler XT2 is a powerful DMX/RDM engine, similar to the e:cue Butler, but with more connection options, an integrated HTTP server and full RDM capability. In standalone mode, saved shows previously downloaded with the e:cue Lighting Application Suite (LAS) are played. In online mode, the Butler XT2 is a DMX/RDM interface for an e:cue lighting control engine. The Butler XT2 alone can control up to 1024 DMX channels in two DMX universes and play up to eight cuelists in parallel. If you connect several Butler XT2 together, up to 16,384 DMX channels can be controlled. There are numerous connection options to control the playback of the shows. e:cue glass touch terminals can be connected directly, and control via RS-232, switching inputs or other e:cue protocols is also possible. With the Mobile Action Pad for iOS and Android, you can also use iOS and Android smartphones and tablets for control. Thanks to the integrated real-time and astronomical clock, shows can be started or stopped depending on the date and time as well as the time of day. The e:bus interface enables direct connection of the glass touch terminals and the e:bus inout modules, so that motion sensors can also be used for control. With the Butler XT2 Garage, several Butler XT2 are easily integrated in a rack.
